Exer Lawndale (Formerly Lawndale Urgent Care)

I took my son to get a sports physical and the staff was so pleasant but to top it off the provider was so attentive and down to earth. She spent time explaining things to my son and I appreciate that. She was warm and that’s what we miss when we go to a doctors appointments. If I could have her as his primary, I would switch with a snap of a finger. I definitely recommend this Urgent Care hands down

Wait time was way too long. Over a hour and half in the waiting room even though there was only 1 other person ahead of me. Sat in the observation room for nearly just as long. I had to get out and ask the nurse twice when the doctor was coming in before she finally came in, The rooms are big but dirty as hell, The floors had stains everywhere and the walls were dark and dirty. The nurses and doctor were friendly though but the wait time was ridiculous

The one star is for Dr. Covington she is an amazing doctor. She takes her time with her patients and she listens thoroughly. However the woman working the front desk when I came at 9:00 AM she was very rude and unfriendly and unapproachable right away. She asked if I have insurance as I am already handing her my ID and insurance card. I told her yes. I also explain to her last time I came I was charged $50 and my insurance told me it should’ve only been $5. She says that she will verify and To have a seat. She lets 35 minutes go by before she hands papers to sign in so that I can be seen. I assumed she was filling them out for me while she was calling to verify. As she hands me the papers I asked “did you verify yet?” She tells me no. So what exactly was she doing for those 35 minutes? Me being upset at this point I rush filling out the papers and just sit them at the front desk. She then I guess gets upset with that so she starts referring to me as Mr. she was referring to me as Ms. prior to me bringing my papers up there.My ID I handed to her clearly states female. I honestly believe she was trying to be funny and petty when she started calling me Mr. I asked her name and she told me it was Perla. Just in case she was lying I took a photo of her. Honestly I don’t want to come back. Also the Nurse who did my ear washing Had me sign papers while I was still dizzy. I informed her I was still dizzy and couldn’t read them without my glasses. she said it’s for permission for the ear irrigation. I get home and request a fax of the papers that I signed and they were absolutely not for that. They are actually liability forms. I’m really upset about this. The nurse should not ambush you like this.

Don't go here. This people still your money they sent me a bill charging me for a covid test they didn't do. Because my insurance didn't want to pay them. Why because this people didn't sent the right information to my insurance trying to charged for something they didn't do I even called the front desk for them to explain to me and the person told me they didn't do no covid test on me Don't go here. They didn't even try hard to help on solving the problem I work hard for my money. And this people people doing this to me don't go here

I suffered a fall and being from out of state was not to sure where to get seen besides going to a hospital ER…my daughter looked up the closest urgent care and made sure they had an X-ray machine if needed (they do)! They also supplied me with the proper foot brace. The next best thing is they took my out of state insurance with no problem! The care was quick and efficient:) The whole staff were friendly and very professional!!
